I LEFT MY HEART IN ST. CHRISTINE (Part 2)

So I started roaming around St. Christine like a candidate running for Mayor wearing the sweetest smile of Piolo Pascual. People stared at me very long struggling to recognize whois this celebrity wasting time to stop and greet them. Of course they don't me! I now looked like Tom Cruise, while the old Jun Abines they knew looked like the ordinay skinny Juan Dela Cruz.
The very first picture I took was with the Basketball players of St. Christine. It was a like meeting Jaworski, Atoy Co, Alvin Patrimonio, Benjie Paras and Johnny whatever fmy idol from old Alaska team. Yes, 90 percent of that basketball player I posed with were all star players in their primes. They were about to play basketball when I arrived. They won the game after that. I'm sure they felt good after I took that picture because they know I will will write something about them.
I kept roaming around until I meet my old childhood friend Maning Ballares a.k.a. Jose Bona. Yes he was my best friend in St. Christine. He wore a long hair and looked very much like a guy who would thrust a knife in your belly of you are not polite and behave accordingly in his teritory. We shook hands as if we meet everyday and seing eaxh other was routine. But deep inside, our hearts lift seeing each other alive. We were both hopeless, skinny, ugly, poor and tiny back 30 years ago. We spent countless hours catching fish, crabs and shell to help feed our families when we were young. Maning is very much soft, sincere and friendly inside. I am too. (Walang kokontra!)
Then neighbors started flocking around us saying hellos and how are yous. Someone asked of I'd like to buy them some beers. I answered No!, I mean, NO need to ask me. I have to. It a way of saying they'd like to sit with me and hear my stories and news. We drank and talked.
The nest day I started roami g around and found some FB Friends GagaJosephine Sanchez Dulay. We shook hands and felt delighted to see each other for the first time. We took pictures of the mass dance by purok.
