I LEFT MY HEART IN ST. CHRISTINE ( Part 1)

Nothing is more meaningful than sharing your time with the people closest to your heart, your childhood friends and old neighbors. No matter how great or successful you are, nobody appreciates you better than childhood friends and old neighbors. No matter or bad or notorious you are, no people welcomes you with open arms than childhood friends and old neighbors. All you really need to do is go back home and tell them you missed them.
For a long, long time I've been writing so many good things about Diatagon and its people. Just lately, one person reminded me that I am originally from St. Christine, therefore I should write more about St. Christine. Why not? Its true after all.
I grew up hungry and a nobody in St. Christine. It was there where I started to build a dream, a dream that did not come true, for now. I once promised to myself not to go back home until I get rich, very rich! I dreamed of driving a luxury car myself going home with bundles of cash enough to buy drinks and food for everyone in my barangay. I can picture in my mind how my neighbors will shower me praises how rich I am of I go home rich. What a very childish dream! Still, it is a dream. I don't blame my self at all. I built that childish dream at the time when I barely ate twice a day while neighbors and buddies teased me that everything we do as a family is chase some rice to eat. What a sad memory, but full of lessons. Past is past.
Just 5 days ago, I visited St. Christine bringing some tarpaulin and cash donated by people from facebook group "St. Christine VIPS". They were to be used for the fiesta. Many were happy. I first approached the barangay captain Merencio Martizano. I told him I brought cah and tarpaulins to be used as for the fiesta. Some good hearted people out there who were once or still residence of St. Christine gave that money. I explained to the barangay Captain how we raised the money and he felt grateful of the news that there are many St. Christinians outhere with good hearts. It was a very dramatic meeting. People gave money for the people and place they care about. I am just the messenger, and I'm proud to be a part of it nevertheless.
